Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of the Deharhi mobile application ("the app", "Deharhi", "we", "our"). By downloading, installing, or using Deharhi, you agree to these Terms.

1. Description of Service

Deharhi is a farm operations management application that helps farm owners track workers, attendance, payments, harvests, expenses, and other farm activities. The app operates primarily offline with optional cloud synchronization.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years old to use Deharhi. By using the app, you represent that you meet this requirement. If you are under 18, you confirm that you have the consent of a parent or legal guardian.

3. Account and Authentication

Deharhi can be used without creating an account (local-only mode). If you choose to create an account for cloud synchronization, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity under your account.

You retain full ownership of all data you enter into Deharhi. We do not claim any rights to your worker records, attendance data, financial records, or any other content you create within the app.

6. Local-Only Mode

When used in local-only mode (without an account), all data is stored exclusively on your device. We have no access to this data. If you uninstall the app or lose your device, locally-stored data cannot be recovered.

7. Cloud Sync

If you enable cloud synchronization, your data will be transmitted to and stored on our cloud infrastructure. We implement security measures including encryption in transit and at rest, Row Level Security, and access controls. However, no system is perfectly secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security of cloud-stored data.

Cloud sync is subject to reasonable usage limits to ensure fair access for all users. These limits may be adjusted over time.

8. Availability and Support

We strive to keep Deharhi and its cloud services available and reliable, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted service. The app's offline-first design means core functionality remains available even when cloud services are temporarily unavailable.

During the closed testing period, the app is provided on an "as is" basis. Features may change, and data formats may evolve between versions.

9. Limitation of Liability

Deharhi is a record-keeping tool. While we aim for accuracy in calculations and data storage, we are not responsible for business decisions made based on information in the app. You should maintain independent records for critical financial and legal matters.

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Deharhi and its creators shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the app.

10. Intellectual Property

The Deharhi app, its design, code, and brand are the intellectual property of Deharhi. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the app for its intended purpose on your personal devices.

11. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.

12. Termination

You may stop using Deharhi at any time by uninstalling the app. If you have a cloud account, you may request account deletion by contacting us. We may terminate or suspend access to cloud services for violations of these Terms.

13. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by the laws of India. Any disputes arising from or relating to these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts in India.
